The start of a new era!
I took a break from blogging in 2010. It’s now 2025.
I had always meant to return to blogging. This was an outlet for me to vent and just ramble. I didn’t care if my blog posts were super lengthy, ’cause I only meant myself to be my reader. Chanced upon a few loyal readers along the way, which was always puzzling – since most of my posts were really boring – but having them was nice and I really appreciated having them.
The plan was to migrate all my old posts from my previous platform, which was closing. I had years and years of posts which I just wanted to keep for posterity. I even paid the platform for the posts to be exported out, but the admins never did, and I ended up not doing anything more about it. The sum paid was less than SGD10, if I recall correctly, so it wasn’t a huge loss.
Then I also had the desire to create a new design for my new blog. I had this website address for years without using it, and I wanted to finally have my blog hosted on it. But then I kinda fell out of love from design, and also got busy with life.
And so 15 years has passed since my last blog post. I’m back blogging again, and my target audience is just myself as it was long ago. If you’re here reading this though, hi! I hope I don’t bore you too much.
